Labor Day Family Fun Weekend
September 5-6, 2026
Every Labor Day Weekend, Whitehall comes alive with activities and events the whole family can enjoy! Gather for worship services, a community potluck picnic, family game night, hayrides, swimming, zip line, concessions, a bouncy house, and so much more. This year, we're excited to add a Fishing Derby to the lineup, giving guests of all ages another way to make lasting memories together. Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, fellowship, or family fun, there's something for everyone at Whitehall's Labor Day Weekend celebration!

** Please note: We do not provide linens in our lodging facilities. Pets are not permitted in any of our facilities. Smoking is not permitted in any facilities or public areas.
Fishing Derby
Begins: Saturday - 10:00am
Submission Deadline: Sunday - 5:00pm
1. To be eligible, the photo must clearly show: The entire fish, the official contest ruler, the fish's mouth positioned at the zero mark, the measurement at the tail
2. Only the first two entries submitted by each participant will be eligible.
3. All entries must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Sunday.
4. The longest fish wins
Chalk Art Contest
Saturday - 1:00 pm
1. No pre-registration needed
2. Age Brackets: 6-12, 13-17, 18+
3. Camp will provide some chalk, feel free to bring your own too!
4. Prizes awarded for the winner of each category
Axe Throwing Competition
Saturday - 1:00 pm
1. You don't have to be related to form a team
2. Each Team must have 4 participants
3. Each Team must have 1 female participant
4. No Team members can be under the age of 12
5. Each Team member must wear closed toe shoes in order to participate.
Deadline: Saturday - 11 am
Hot Dog Eating Contest
Sunday - 2:00 pm
1. Sign Up through the link!
2. There is no age limit!
3. Fastest to eat 10 hot dogs wins!
(5-minute time limit)
4. Prize awarded for the winner.
Deadline: Sunday - 10 am
Family Feud Game Show
Sunday - 6:30 pm
Deadline: Sunday - 12 pm
1. You don't have to be related to form a team
2. Team members can range anywhere in age from 3-99
3. Each Team must have 4-6 players
4. The first 4 teams to register will be chosen to compete
